Shang-Chi Recreates His Most Epic Comic Cover in Real Life Cosplay
Justin Otero (@jt_otero) shared an exciting Shang-Chi cosplay with Instagram followers, citing direct inspiration by Dike Ruan's cover for 2022's Shang Chi and the Ten Rings , in an exciting cosplay take on the character.
A collaborative effort with Pat Loika & Mother Moon Creations, Otero's cosplay captures the essence of Shang-Chi, as illustrated by Ruan in one of his most epic covers, surrounded by the mystic ten rings of power as he faces the forces of destruction.
Otero's homage to Ruan's cover art celebrates Shang-Chi and the Marvel artists behind him, but also sets a strong example for future Shang-Chi cosplayers to follow.
